Meet Hannah S. Kaplan

Candidate for Quincy City Council – At Large
My name is Hannah S. Kaplan, and I am proud to be a candidate for City Council At Large in the City of Quincy. I am running for this position to be a responsive, principled, and solution focused voice to city leadership—one that represents the needs of all residents and promotes thoughtful progress across our diverse and historic city.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Law, and Ethics from the University of Massachusetts Boston and an Associate of Science in Paralegal Studies from Quincy College. My professional background spans legal services, hospitality, and customer relations—experiences that have shaped my deep understanding of how policy impacts real people in their everyday lives. Through my work in the city with local businesses, I understand the importance of accountability, and civic engagement in public service.

I believe Quincy deserves leadership that listens, adapts, and leads with integrity. As Councilor At Large, I will advocate for transparent governance, responsible development, safe and accessible neighborhoods, and support for our local economy. With a commitment to equity and community, I am committed and ready to contribute in the future of Quincy—with all of us in mind.
